"Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it;
And you will find rest for your souls.”  Jeremiah 6:16

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching,
for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness.”
2 Timothy 3:16

We have all shared moments in all our lives when surprisingly we have become aware that we have been misguided and misled by someone we trusted.  The purpose of which, we came to later discover, was to maneuver some sort of gain at our expense. It could have been as innocent as Dad hiding the fudge cookies in a high cupboard after shopping to keep us from eating the whole bag at once.  Perhaps the motivation was a co-worker or teammate seeking a better position, or perhaps a romantic relationship gone sour, which we still blindly considered sweet and worthy of our continued devotion.  We have all believed lies.  We have all cried in the shadows.

At the extreme, deception can lead to all manner of evil – physical, emotional, psychological and most assuredly spiritual. We wonder why we fell victim when our hearts and minds were reasonable and sincere. We turn to God and our friends and ask, “Why?” How do we defend ourselves from this type of injustice and heartache now and in the future?

God answers these questions and many more in the Bible. Unfortunately, some are not that easy to acquire and we may have a host of influences that would tell us otherwise, leaving us vulnerable again to deceptions that diminish, decay and eventually destroy our hope and our future potential to walk in truth, trust and forgiveness as God desires and plans for us. God has always been, is, and will always be absolutely for us.

Seven Often Neglected Principles for Discerning Biblical Truth is primarily about spiritual deception. It gives us armor against false doctrines and traditions that are prolifically preached from today’s pulpits. What defense do we have from those whom we would trust the most, with whom we are regularly vulnerable? On its pages you will find safeguards that, when considered and applied, will protect you and your family in these and times to come from the enemy of our souls.  And in the process, you will also discover riches and wonders clearly exposed in the Word of God for those who seek, knock, and ask.  Enjoy.

The Scriptures were given to show us where the path is, how we can recognize where and when we have missed the path along our journey, the ways we can most effectively adjust our travels and get back on the path, and the best ways in which to stay on the path once we have returned to it.  Its objective is to give us instruction on how to have a great relationship with the Creator and His people.

Something so important should not be left to chance.  And the enemy of our souls has made it his objective for us to get the wrong GPS signals.  Download the book today.  It’s an easy read.
